Westley Richards. Superb pair of 16-bore Officer’s Pistols made in 1839. Beautiful 8” Damascus barrels with mint bores retain most of the original brown finish and even have color hardening remaining internally at the breeches showing no evidence of having been fired. Peerless quality locks with sliding safety’s retain much of their original hardening color. Stocks retain virtually all the original varnish showing no evidence of use or abuse. Mounts and captive ramrods retain most of their original finish as well. These magnificent pistols are cased in the original maker’s case with trade label and a full compliment of original accessories. Very rare and almost impossible to find today in this original, near mint, condition.
