W. & C. Scott rare best quality .410 ga. boxlock ejector shotgun, ca. 1900.  Weight 4 Lbs. 4 oz.  Stock Dimensions: 14”x 1 ¼”x 2 7/8”x straight.  Beautiful 27” barrels, marked “Special Steel”, have 3” chambers (lengthened from the original 2 ½”) and retain brilliant bores choked .012”/.013”.  Beautifully engraved action with Greener cross-bolt third fastener (rarely found on .410ga. guns) and ejectors retains most of the original hardening colors even on the breech face. Double triggers, ejectors, and automatic safety. Nicely figured semi-pistol grip stock with original horn butt plate and splinter forend with Deeley latch retain virtually all the original finish. Overall a rare and absolutely superb little vintage .410 in near mint original condition throughout.
